About

As one of the most revered and uniquely diverse artists of all time, Chagall’s prolific works have transcended the divisions of modernism, expressionism, cubism, and symbolism. The exhibit Beyond Color also showcases Chagall’s many mediums, including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, and collage, and the centerpiece is a display of costumes he designed for the 1942 production of the ballet Aleko which featured music by Tchaikovsky. This exhibit is exclusive to two locations: France and Dallas. Lucky us.
