About
Helen Altman, Frances Bagley, Celia Eberle, Margaret Meehan are four artists who use animal imagery in their art in very different ways — some sculpt literal replications of our four-legged friends, some create symbolic representations of nature scenes, some use animals as conceptual subject matter in their art. But it's through those differences that this quartet of artists demonstrates the significance that wildlife holds to different cultures, and the relationship that exists between animals and humans in modern society.
