If you live, work, or play in the Arts District, you might think about penciling time to attend this civically-minded forum. All seven city council candidates for the newly redrawn District 14, which encompasses parts of downtown, Uptown, historic east Dallas, Turtle Creek, and Oak Lawn (some 83,000 residents), will be in attendance to answer questions on topics ranging from arts funding to traffic and public safety issues. Prior the forum, there's a 30-minute meet and greet in the theater lobby.
