About
This exhibition features the works of three key figures in documentary photography in the 1930s. Margaret Bourke-White was the first female photographer for Life magazine and the first female war correspondent. Walker Evans, a worker within the Farm Security Administration, shot some of the most iconic images from the Great Depression. And Berenice Abbott captured New York's architecture in stark black and white. Together these works offer a compelling glimpse at the America of yore.
