About
When Adam (Joseph Gordon Levitt), a young and otherwise healthy 20-something, is diagnosed with cancer and giving a 50 percent chance of survival, he has plenty of reason to be depressed. But Adam's family and girlfriend take the news worse than he does, and rather than allowing his diagnosis to consume him, he and his best friend Kyle (Seth Rogen) embrace the new twist in his life with an element of clumsy humor. He seeks out therapy from a young psychiatrist (Anna Kendrick), befriends a pair of older cancer patients at the hospital, and refuses to quit living his life as he's always wanted.
