About

We hardly need an excuse to eat a great meal from one of Dallas’ best chefs. But indulging in fine food is even better when it supports a good cause. Local restaurateurs Chris Jeffers, Chris Zielke, and Tim Byres (of Smoke and Bolsa), together with the Mass Care Task Force (comprising the American Red Cross Dallas area chapter, North Texas Food Bank, Salvation Army DFW Metroplex Area Command, and Volunteer Center of North Texas), present this unique event, the proceeds of which help North Texas’ disaster preparedness. Here’s how it works. The restaurant is open only Monday and Tuesday nights, for six months, and the chef for each evening is a surprise. Participating culinary masters include Sharon Hage of York Street, Janice Provost and Chad Houser of Parigi, Marc Cassel of Park, Abraham Salum of Salum, Scott Gottlich of Bijoux and The Second Floor, and Stephan Pyles of Stephan Pyles and Samar.
