Profile

The Nasher's latest exhibition, Return to Earth: Ceramic Sculpture of Fontana, Melotti, Miró, Noguchi, and Picasso, 1943-1963, explores the way various artists from the avant-garde engaged clay in radical ways that challenged the boundaries between sculpture and ceramics. Reserve your spot at the symposium to hear artists and curators present different perspectives on the ground-breaking work. The morning session features art historian Marin Sullivan and curators Jed Morse, Catherine Craft and Dakin Hart. Jed Morse will moderate the afternoon discussion featuring artists Nicole Cherubini, Ginger Geyer, and Brian Molanphy.
