Welcome home the troops

Dallas is one of two hubs in the country for troops returning for their two-week rest and relaxation. Every day 150 to 275 soldiers land at DFW Airport. Some are staying; some are passing through. No matter your political leaning, you should welcome them home. Veterans greet the soldiers first, then family members, then volunteers. Waving flags and cheering people will get your patriotic heart pumping. Take a phone for the soldiers to borrow to make a call home between flights. And don’t forget to take a Kleenex.
