We aren’t the only ones who think attending a sermon at the Potter’s House is a must. P. Diddy attended while visiting Dallas during Super Bowl XLV. But for the members of the church, it’s more than a must-visit on a list of things to do. It’s a moving experience with world-renowned Bishop T.D. Jakes and an award-winning choir. But do go prepared. Service starts at 9 am. Arrive early to avoid traffic. Wear comfortable shoes for the walk across the street from the parking lot. Eat breakfast, because sermons can last awhile. And, as a veteran told us, be prepared to get makeup on your clothes and perfume on your blouse. This congregation likes to hug.
