What are your favorite restaurants in Dallas?

I have lost count of restaurants in Frisco, but I know we have more than 200. I always like unique restaurants, and some of my favorites include Randy’s Steakhouse, as well as Silver Fox. My daughter’s favorite is Cantina Laredo, but we enjoy all the Mexican restaurants in Frisco, including Mattito’s and La Hacienda. Double Dip is a great family hangout, and one can’t talk about unique places without mentioning the hugely popular Frisco Snow Cone Lady!

What are your favorite shops in Dallas?

While I’m not the best person to ask about shopping, my wife is a pro, so I asked her. Clearly, the place to be is Stonebriar Centre, which is part of more than 8 million square feet of retail and includes some of Val’s other favorite stops, IKEA and Sam Moon Trading Company.

What are your favorite venues in Dallas?

For entertainment, I enjoy all Frisco has to offer. My family loves Frisco sport venues. The new Texas Legends D-League team, Frisco Roughriders, Texas Tornado and FC Dallas are all personal favorites of mine, and my family attends games as often as we can. From time to time, we enjoy a rugby match involving the Frisco Griffins and gymnastic meets, often hosted by numerous gyms here, including WOGA and Kurt Thomas. While we do not get out often enough to see movies, Stonebriar Centre has an AMC theatre and a new Cinemark in Frisco Square. A new family favorite of ours is enjoying the Frisco Discovery Center, which is home to Sci-Tech Discovery Center, plus an art gallery and blackbox theatre operated by Frisco Association for the Arts.
